Roland Flowers, 81, a resident of Troy, died Saturday January 16,2016 at Baptist Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 19th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, Rev. Jim Powell officiating with burial to follow in Mossey Grove Cemetery, Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5 until 7 p.m.

Survivors include; his wife Edna Flowers, 3 daughters, Kim McClelland (Rick) of Chelsea,Alabama, Jackie Costner of Prattville, Alabama, and Reba Guthrie (Chris) of Prattville. He is also survived by a granddaughter Lauren Guthrie of Prattville, 4 grandsons: Tyler McClelland (Amanda) of Warner Robins, Georgia, Ryan Guthrie (Meg) of Huntsville, Cody Costner of Prattville, Austin McClelland (Reana) of Saudi Arabia and 2 great granddaughters.

Mr. Flowers’ sons-in-law, grandsons, and nephew will serve as pallbearers.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be sent to Union Hill United Methodist Church.
