Margaret Reeves Jones, age 92, a resident of Troy, AL, died Monday, December 21, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Buddy Hood officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015from 1-2pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Ms. Jones served as the first switchboard operator for Southern Bell Telephone Company and was a longtime member of the DAR & Daughters of the Confederacy.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Leanne Grissett and preceded in death by her husband, James A. Jones; daughters, Sara Elizabeth Jones and Marianne Jones Grissette and one son-in-law, Paul L. Grissett.
