A Troy man who was injured in a single-vehicle crash at 2:10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, died at 11:41 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7. Timothy Larance McSwain, 24, was driving a 2005 Ford Focus that left the roadway and overturned. McSwain, who was not using a seat belt, was ejected. He was transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, where he died. The crash occurred on Pike County 3304 five miles south of Troy. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
