Troy Police are investigating a Friday night shooting at a local apartment complex that left one person dead. 

Police spokesman Lt. Bryan Weed confirmed that officers are investigating a shooting at the Autumn Ridge Apartments on North Knox Street. The shooting occurred about 9:20 p.m.

According to Weed, there was one victim in the shooting pronounced dead at the scene.

Weed could not offer any more information citing the ongoing investigation.
