Troy Police searching for two men

Troy Police are searching for suspects in a home invasion that took place around 9 p.m. Thursday.

Lt. Bryan Weed with the Troy Police Department said that two black males knocked on the door and forced their way into a house in the 300 block of Mahone Court around 9:10 p.m.

“One male was wearing a white tank top with a red bandana on his face,” Weed said. “The other had a T-shirt with designs and a mask that covered his face that had eye holes.”

Weed said the suspects were unarmed.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the residence and left the scene on foot in an unknown direction of travel. Weed said the victim was shaken up but not injured.

This case is still under investigation by the Troy Police Department.

“The police department would like to request that anyone that has any information pertaining to this case to notify the Troy Police Department at 566-0500, Crime Stoppers at 245-STOP or the Secret Witness Line at 566-5555,” Weed said.
