Grover Rudolph Poole, age 88, of Troy died Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 26, 2015 at 2:00 pmfrom the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Doc Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Monday October 26, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mr. Poole is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Larry Swindall and Gayle and Allen Dunn his grandchildren, Mick Swindall, Kary Swindall, Morgan Dunn, Betsey Vrazel (Sean) and Kiley Dunn. 

Pallbearers will be Roy Glen Poole, Carl Hussey, Jim Powell, Larry Meeks, Ronnie Baldwin and Dennis Greer.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David Poole, Billy Pope and the Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers of the Pioneer Museum of Alabama.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Pioneer Museum of Alabama at 248 US Highway 231, Troy, Alabama 36081.
