Charlie Harris announced that he is seeking his sixth term as commissioner on the Pike County Commission.

“I have faithfully served the people of Pike County for many years,” Harris said. “I have done my best to represent all the people of District 5 on the Pike County Commission.”

Harris represented the people of Pike County by serving on the State Association of County Commissions of Alabama Board of Directors, Minority Committee, Legislative Committee and the Workers Compensation Board.

“It has also been my honor to have represented Pike County as a voting member at the national Association of County Commissions,’ Harris said. “I appreciate the people of District 5 for allowing me to represent them, and I humbly ask that they allow me to continue to be their commissioner for another term.”
