They were active members of the Park Street Methodist Church and founders of the now, Park Memorial Methodist Church. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Claudia Linton; her husband of 61 years, Wilbur “Bill” King; son, Blaine King; sister, Patti Sadler; and brother-in-law, Clifton Brabham. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Norm) Estep; granddaughter, Ashley King; brothers, Dan (Becky) Linton and Terry (Gail) Linton; sisters, Dannie Brabham, Jean (Mac) Pullen, and Peggy (George) Stough; and brother-in-law, Frank Sadler, Sr.

The family wishes to extend many thanks to her special caregivers, Linda Ann Thomas and Linda Gail Thomas; her special friends, Tommy and Joyce Deveridge; and the caring staffs at Troy Health and Rehabilitation and Hospice Advantage. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate prayers of thanksgiving that she is no longer suffering, or contributions may be made in her honor to Park Memorial United Methodist Church (PO Box 1291 Troy, Alabama 36081).
