Marvin L. “Marv” Dillard, Jr., age 47, a resident of Troy, died Thursday, August 13, 2015. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Danny Arnold and Dr. Luke Lane officiating. Burial will follow in the Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 5-7pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Pallbearers will include Mike Hall, Denny Sandford, Mike Mabry, Houston Mabry, Curtis Bunn and Beck Vann.

Mr. Dillard is survived by his wife, Kim Townsend Dillard; children, Anna Saunders, Sara Saunders and Jeffrey Saunders all of Troy; parents, Marvin and Pat Dillard of Troy; sister, Maricia Dillard Taylor; and nieces and nephews, Alicia Standfield of Jesup, GA, Amber Taylor of Troy, Wesley Taylor of Virginia Beach, VA, William Taylor of Troy and Wyatt Taylor also of Troy.
