Vacation Bible School at Shady Grove Baptist Church is going “To the Edge to Encounter the God of the Universe.” Katie McWaters, director, said each night the children have the opportunity to hear the Message of Salvation. The Shady Grove VBS is held later in the summer and some children have already attended VBS at other churches. “We wanted to offer the children something different and ‘Encounter the God of the Universe’ really fit our needs,” McWaters said. The Shady Grove Baptist Church VBS will conclude with commencement at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Family and friends are invited to attend.
