Louis Schrieber, age 78. formerly of Springhill died Monday, June 22, 2015 in Florence, AL. Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 3:00 pm in Sandfield Cemetery with Father Den Irwin officiating and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held Thursday, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mr. Schrieber is survived by his wife of 58 years Dorthy Williamson Schrieber of Florence, children, Laura (Clay) Clark of Tuscaloosa, Sonny (Janet) Schrieber of Troy, Nickie (Green) Fountain of Florence and Gene (Dana) Schrieber of Florence, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, he is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Salvatore (Kathy) Schrieber of Chicago, John (Marleen) Schrieber, Jr. of Chicago; two brothers-in-law, John Miller and Sam Laudicino also of Chicago; and life long friends, Sam and Cathy Ingraffia, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Domenica Schrieber, and his sisters, Marie Miller, Elaine Laudicino and Theresa Schrieber.
