Goshen house catches fire (photo)

Messenger PHoto/Scottie Brown Firefighters worked quickly Friday to extinguish a fire at a residence in the 1600 block of County Road 1164 in Goshen. Goshen Volunteer Fire Department Chief Mark Miley said the report received at 11:40 a.m. indicated smoke in the bathroom, but once volunteer firefighters arrived they found flames visible. Pike County Fire and Rescue provided additional support and together they extinguished the fire. The owner of the residence was a home at the time, and no one was injured, Miley said.
