Amari Simone Castle, the daughter of 1987 Goshen High School graduate Sheila Folmar Castle and Charles Castle of St Petersburg, Fla., graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boca Ciega High School on June 1 with outstanding academic excellence, including the Social Sciences Scholar of the Year award, National Honor Society vice president, Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society president, Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society, and Talented 20. She also successfully completed all the requirements for the Center for Wellness and Medical Professions Program with 1582 volunteer hours. Amari will be attending Florida Gulf Coast University, Fort Meyers, Fla. in the fall.
