Sylvia Kelly Roberts, born July 29, 1942 in Troy, Alabama, made her transition Thursday, May 7, 2015 in Savannah, Georgia. She was surrounded by her daughter, Vivian and the staff of Hospice Savannah.

Ms. Roberts is survived by her children, Vivian Whitten, Malinda Daniel, Mary LaMont, Ara Gunter and Michael Gunter; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Christine Kotis-McGough; Godson, Tim Blair; many nieces and nephews; two loving aids, Tiaya Curry and Angie Carter and loving friends, Allen Roundtree, Michael Stuart and Micky Usry.

Her final gift was her body to Lifelegacy Foundation to help others.

A memorial service will be held at Adams Funeral Home, May 11 at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Hartman officiating.
