Mavis Ellis Lee, age 86, formerly of Brundidge, died Sunday, May 3, 2015. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Wilkes and Reverend Jason Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Mrs. Lee will lie in state on hour prior to the service at the church.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

She is survived by his daughter, Roselyn (Joe “Butch”) Jenkins, grandchildren, Ashley Jenkins, Nathan (Jennifer) Jenkins and Kimberly Lee (Tim) Walker; sister, Carolyn Lee, great-grandchildren, Weston Walker, Emma Rose Jenkins and a nephew, James Carroll Lee.

Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband Eustace Lee, son Eustace “Ike” Lee, daughter, Laurette Lee, sisters Nettie Alcuri and Velma Stone; brothers, Curtis Dickey, J.C. Ellis, Royce Ellis and Melvin Ellis and her parents, Charlie and Rose Ellis.

Pallbearers will be Benny Ellis, Ashley Jenkins, Nathan Jenkins, Mike Simmons, Larry Edgar, Kim Ellis
