Chester B. Driskell, age 74 of Brundidge, Alabama passed away Monday, April 13,2015 at Troy Regional Medical Center. Visitation for Mr. Driskell will be Friday, April 17, 2015, 1:30 – 3:00 pm at Salem Baptist Church. Services will follow at 3:00 pm at Salem Baptist Church with the Reverend Chad Manion officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge.

Mr. Driskell was known by his family and friends as a hardworking and very caring father, grandfather and friend. He owned operated a Parts House in Brundidge, Alabama for 35 years before retiring. He served as Fire Chief with the Brundidge Volunteer Fire Department, was a member of the American Legion and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Driskell and Laura Seigle; his son, Jim Driskell (Rhonda); three granddaughters, Jenna Mays (Matt), Ann-Marie Seigle and Lyndsie Seigle;three sisters, Joan McLain, Martha Brackin (Ronnie) and Paulette Smith; and one sister-in-law, Judy Driskell.

Mr. Driskell was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Driskell, his parents and a brother.

Services are under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home in Brundidge.
