A two-vehicle crash at 11:40 p.m., Saturday claimed the life of a Troy man.
Byron Maurice Hill, 37, was killed when the 1999 Mazda he was driving ran off the road, according to Alabama State Troopers.
Troopers said Hill attempted to bring his vehicle back onto the road when he over-corrected, crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a 2001 Oldsmobile driven by 21-year-old Jeremy Jermaine Boyd of Brundidge. Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.
Boyd and three passengers in his vehicle were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The crash occurred on U.S. 29 at the 119 mile marker. No further information was available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
