Marzelle Sheffield Bell, age 74 of Ariton, passed away, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan. Visitation for Mrs. Bell will be Friday, April 10, 2015 at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home in Brundidge from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10:00 am at Ariton Baptist Church with Reverends Dave Walsh, Joe Underwood and Ben Amlong officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in the Rocky Head Community located on Alabama State Highway 51.

Survivors include her mother, Louise Sheffield; her husband, Horace Bell; daughter, Jan Phillips; sons, Marc Bell and Steve Bell (Lavonda); sisters, Winnie Merle (Bill) Helton, Ann (Roger) Parker, Eleise (Jimmy) Floyd and Peggy (Charles) Pope; grandchildren, Lori (Jon) Peavy, Jeremy (Kristi) Bell, and Courtney Bell; great grandchildren, Hobie Peavy, Trey Peavy, Brodie Bell, Kenleigh and Haystin Wood and one soon to be great granddaughter, Hadleigh Marie Delgado.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Colon Sheffield.
