Mr. Charles Russell Warren of Troy passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at his residence. He was 72. Graveside services were held at 12:30 pm Monday, March 30, 2015 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Kirby officiating, Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation was held from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm Monday at Skeen Funeral Home prior to the service. He was born June 28, 1942 in Marianna, FL to the late Russell Duncan Warren and Glennie Ruth McLeod Warren Ethridge. Mr. Warren faithfully served our country in the U.S. Navy. He was retired from the Alabama State Hwy Dept. and the Alabama State Employment Office. He also farmed all his life. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Gray Warren and a granddaughter, Jessie Aarron Warren. He is survived by his children: Charles Michael Warren (Ronda), Eagle River, AK; daughter, Cindy Warren DeLongchamp (Michael), Montgomery; Clint Warren and Christopher Warren, both of Troy; brothers, Richard Lane Warren (Sula), Troy and Duncan Griffin Warren (Beth), Williams SC; sister, Carey Warren Speaks (Howard), Walterboro, SC; grandchildren, Chas Ryan Warren, Richmond VA: Chase Thomas Warren (Erica) and Casie Carol Warren, both of Eagle River AK; Michael Luis DeLongchamp and Wills Patrick DeLongchamp both of Montgomery; and a great granddaughter, Tatum Elizabeth Warren, Eagle River, AK. Serving as pallbearers were Jason Warren, Michael DeLongchamp, Kenneth Griffin, Tommy Floyd, Donald Lee and Jeff Kervin.
