Joseph Rembert, Jr.

Elder Joseph Rembert, Jr., a resident of Troy, Alabama, passed away March 3, 2015.  Born August 29, 1973, in Mobile, Alabama, Joseph was the eldest son of Bishop Joseph Rembert, Sr. and Mrs. Bernadine Rembert, of Montgomery, Alabama.

At a young age and before the Church body, Joseph accepted Christ and committed to a life of Christian service.  He was ordained as a minister January 23, 2010, and as an Elder in the ministry in 2014, at his church of membership, New Life Christian Center, in Montgomery, Alabama.  In his career life, he worked mainly in the auto parts industry, and upon graduation from Selma High School, in Selma, Alabama, he became a certified welder.

Joseph was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, his maternal grandmother, and his daughter, Christina Catrina Rembert.  He leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife, Rebecca Money Rembert, of Troy; his son, Joseph Rembert III/”Lil Joe;” his father, Bishop Joseph Rembert, Sr; his mother, Mrs. Bernadine Rembert; his sister, Dana Fulton (Bryan); and his brother, Christopher Rembert; all of Montgomery; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Kathleen Rembert, of Mobile, Alabama; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.

Professional services were rendered by Grubbs Funeral Home, in Troy, and a memorial service to celebrate Joseph’s life was held Sunday, March 8, at 2:00 pm, at Grubbs Funeral Home.
