A Certificate of Need, effective April 2, 2015, was issued for Fresenius Medical Care Brundidge to add six in-center hemodialysis stations to its existing end stage renal diease (ESRD) treatment facility which consists of 10 stations, pursuant to the need methodology for ESRD services as outlined in 41-2-3-.05(2) of the Alabama State Health Plan for a total of 16 stations.

Bio-Medical Applications of Alabama, Inc. d/b/a Fresenius Medical Care submitted the application.

The estimated cost of the project is $1,859,600.

The State Health Planning and Development Agency in Montgomery issued Certificate of Need 2708-ESRD.
