John R. (Roger) Mitchell, age 67 of Troy, Alabama passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at Troy Regional Medical Center. A Memorial service will be held, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in The Mount Moriah Community.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his two children, Kevin Michael Lancaster and Donna Bradley; four step children, Kim Wood, Kassie Bundy, Rachel Jordan and Wendy Day; five sisters, May Vaught, Betty Walker, Hilda (G.W.) Biggerstaff of Fruitland Park, Florida, Nell (Lee Arthur) Mobley and Mable Horn; one brother, Harold (Mary) Mitchell; and one special friend, Jeanice Cole.
