Vickie Darlene Orem, age 57, a resident of Troy, died Thursday, January 8, 2015. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Rick Hayes officiating.

Interment will follow in Bay Minette Cemetery at 4:00 pm with Reverend Dave Kelso officiating and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Survivors include her brother, Millard Douglas Orem III and his wife Paula; 2 sisters, Wanda Gorum and her husband Andy, and Patricia Gail Orem; nieces and nephews, Lindsey Marie Gorum, William Aaron Gorum, Megan Christine Gorum. She is also survived by her beloved dog Prissy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard Douglas Orem, Jr and Eloise Lindsey Orem.

Ms. Orem graduated from Troy University and was employed for 30 plus years and Sanders Lead Company.
