The Trojans will host the Governors on Sept. 3, 2016 and also welcome the Blue Hose to Veterans Memorial Stadium on Sept. 8, 2018

Troy and Austin Peay have met 16 times before, with the most recent meeting coming in 2002 when the Trojans defeated the Governors 41-3.

The Trojans hold a slight edge in the series, going 8-7-1 all-time against Austin Peay.

Troy and Presbyterian played each year from 1962 to 1965 with the two schools splitting the four meetings.

The 2016 schedule features non-conference tilts with the aforementioned Austin Peay at Troy, a trip to Clemson, a trip to Southern Miss and a home game against UMass.

In 2018, Troy is scheduled to host Boise State, visit Nebraska, host Presbyterian and visit UMass.

Other scheduled non-conference games include trips to Boise State and LSU and a visit from North Carolina State in 2017.

A visit from Southern Miss is the only scheduled non-conference game in 2019.
