Remembrance: Family, friends of Ransom came together for candlelight vigil at local park

More than 50 friends, family and community members came together Tuesday evening at a Brundidge park where Pryzim Thesolonnians Ransom used to play basketball to honor his memory. Ransom was shot and killed Friday, Dec. 26 after an altercation broke out at Upper Kutz, a Brundidge barbershop on Veterans Road. The case is currently under investigation by Brundidge Police Department and a suspect has not been arrested concerning the case. Attendees to Ransom’s candlelight vigil bow their heads in prayer before releasing balloons, which had messages written on them.
