Delmar Brenton Johnson age 67, of Troy died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Troy. Mr. Johnson was a Vietnam Veteran and a two time cancer survivor. He retired from Pilgrims Pride as a truck driver.

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Donnie Marler officiating. Burial will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 5-7 PM at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Survivors include, wife of 49 years, Margaret Johnson of Troy, Daughter and Son in law, Pamela and Joseph Grantham of Troy, “Granddaughter” Aubrey Kendyll Mount of Radcliff , KY., 2 Brothers and Sisters in law, Donald and Ramona Johnson of Phenix City, Kenneth and Billie Johnson of Elba, Sisters and Brothers in law, Mavis Sawyers of Troy, Margaret and Sammy Turner of Seale, Faye and Douglas Hattaway of Brundidge, Brother in law, Aaron Simmons of Smiths Station, Sisters in law, Linda Johnson of Ariton, Doris and James Thompson of Troy, Nora and Charles Copeland of Goshen, Cathy Catrett of Troy. Also Several nieces and nephews and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delma and Siddie Johnson, Brother, George Johnson and a sister, Edna Simmons.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Luke Grantham, Drew Lurker, Josh Whitson, Weston Brown, James Copeland, Dale Sawyer, Russell Copeland.
