The Pike Liberal Arts girl’s basketball team was runner-up in the Abbeville Christian Academy Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament last week.  In the first game, PLAS outscored Northside Methodist 77 to 74. Lauren Johnson scored 37 points, 25 in the first half, and 18 rebounds to lead the Patriots to the win. Megan Johnson had 21 points and Ashley Dietrich had 13 points and seven rebounds for PLAS.

PLAS faced off against Abbeville Christian in the championship game and came up short 35-23.  Ashley Dietrich and Lauren Johnson scored nine points each and Megan Johnson chipped in with five points.

Megan and Lauren Johnson were named to the All-Tournament Team.
