Goshen Lady Eagles fall to Highland Home

Following a slow start and a comeback that came too late, the Goshen Lady Eagles fell to Highland Home during Tuesday’s contest.
The Eagles finished their run against the Flying Squadron, losing 56-18, and head coach for the Eagles said the girls had worked hard throughout the game, but could not capitalize on key plays and Flying Squadron mistakes during the matchup.
Following half time, with the Eagles losing 10 to 28 against the Flying Squadron, Goshen came out ready to score and put several points up against the Flying Squadron, but the fire was soon extinguished as the Flying Squadron continued to dominate the floor smothering the Eagles.
But, despite the loss, the Eagles’ coach said the girls were already showing promise for the season that still awaited them.
The Eagles fall in their season home opener.
Their next matchup will be against Providence Christian at home on Thursday night.
The boys game will follow immediately after.
