WHITEHURST, Margaret M., 88, a Montgomery resident, died Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Earl Whitehurst and a brother, John William “JW” Law, she is survived by her children, William H. Miller, Jr. and Susan Miller Curlee (Allen); brother, George Law; sisters, Nell Law Daughtry (Nelson “Pick”), Brenda Law Hamn (Jeff, Sr.); sister-in-law, Dorothy Law; grandchildren, Christi Curlee Colquett (Joey), Craig Curlee (Brooke), Casey Curlee (Brittney), Deanna N. Martin, great-grandchildren, Darby Colquett, Claire Colquett, Tyler Curlee, Ashleigh Curlee, Emily Curlee, Austin Curlee, Owen Curlee, Aaron Curlee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Thursday, October 9, 2014, from 6-8 PM, followed by her Funeral Service on Friday, October 10, 2014, at 1 PM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, (3460 Carter Hill Road in Montgomery) with Bishop Kirk Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow at 3 PM in Green Hills Cemetery in Troy, AL. Mrs. Whitehurst had retired from the State of Alabama Revenue Dept. as a Supervisor, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Pallbearers will be Freddie Daughtry, Johnny Law, Tommy Hamn, Jeff Hamn, Jr., David Law, Tyler Curlee, Wayne Law, and Larry Law. Don Eiland will be an Honorary Pallbearer.
