Hubbard, Gerald Roger, 85, of Almeria community, passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2014. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, 3:00 p.m., from Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glen Rotton Hubbard and a son, Randy Gerald Hubbard.

He is survived by one daughter, Glenda (Michael) Foley of Montgomery; three sons: Esley “Tim” (Julia) Hubbard and Roger Hubbard, both of Almeria Community and John (Kimberly) Hubbard of Montgomery; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters: Willodean Hinson of Montgomery, Wanda Cratty of Statesboro, GA and Patricia McMinn of Columbus, GA; brothers: Wayne Hubbard of Montgomery, Billy Hubbard of Ivey, GA and Doyle Hubbard of Almeria.

Pallbearers will be Randall Hubbard, Brandon Self, Michael Dunkin, John Hubbard, Will Hubbard and Billy Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be past and present deacons of Macedonia Baptist Church.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

A visitation was held Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home Union Springs.
