Foster Stephens, age 91 of Troy died Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 1, 2014 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverends Burney Enzor, Clifford Mathews and Wes Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years Gladys Stephens, daughters Margaret Herring and Fay (Jimmy) Lunsford, son Steve (Thelma) Stephens, 7 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Henry and Mary Stephens, a sister Fannie Lou Youngblood and a brother James Stephens.

Active pallbearers will be his nephews Donnie Stephens, Robert Stephens and Tommy Youngblood, and his grandsons Darren Stephens, and Jim Lunsford, and his great grandsons Will Laurence, Jackson Laurence and Seth Arrington.

Honorary pallbearers will be his great grandsons Jordan Curtis, Jaxen Lunsford, Dalton Stephens, Al Atkins, Ras Atkins, Will Atkins, and Hayden Arrington.
