Funeral services for Eddie B. Cooper, 68, of Columbus, GA, who died September 5, 2014, at Midtown Columbus Regional Medical Center, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Larry Bland officiating. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2014.

He was born May, 1, 1946, in Macon-Hurtsboro, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Effie Lee Cooper Ousley and Patrick Patterson. He was a graduate of Pike County Schools. Mr. Cooper was a member of New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Ensley, AL. He loved to travel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Effie Lee Cooper Ousley and Patrick Patterson.

Survivors include his six daughters; a son-in-law; his son; a daughter-in-law; seven brothers; three sisters; two brother-in-laws; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four aunts; one uncle; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, cousins and friends; honorary pallbearers will be friends of the family and brothers; floral bearers will be his nieces.
