Planning Commission approves lot adjustment

The Troy City Planning commission approved a request for a Final Plat approval of the re-subdivision of a re-subdivision of Lots 8, 9, 15, and 16 of the Hillcrest Subdivision located on the north side of Murphree Street including 609 Murphree Street in a R1: Low Density Residential Zoning District.

The requests was presented by Walt Stell of Survey South Land Surveying, who represented Carolyn Barnette.

The re-subdivision changes the angle of a rear lot line between two lots from an angle to a straight line, which will be parallel to Hillcrest Boulevard.

Stell said the request was related to the owner of an adjacent lot that may wish to purchase one of the adjusted lots in the future for a planned addition to their home.

The commission approved the request unanimously.
