Jeremy Cain, 33, was charged with receiving stolen property third degree, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and person forbidden to possess a firearm. “The stolen property charge stems from the firearm,” said Lt. Bryan Weed of the Troy Police Department.

Additional charges may be added, pending further investigation. “Narcotics investigators at the scene located a meth lab on the property, which was taken for processing and charges will be pending,” said Weed. “Detectives located other property at the scene that may be found to be stolen after further investigation.”

Cain is being held at the Troy City Jail with a $13,500 bond.
