Brundidge man dies after crash

A  Brundidge man has died from injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle crash Thursday, May 29. James Mulkey, 87,  was driving a 2000 Nissan that collided with a 2002 Chevrolet. Mulkey, who was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was transported to Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, where he died today, May 30.  The crash occurred at 3:50 p.m. on U.S. 231 at the 60 mile marker, in the Hamilton Crossroads community. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
