Alabama Department of Revenue is offering a free business workshop in Troy on June 17.

The workshop will cover a variety of state tax information topics, including income, property and local sales tax.

“It gives prospective and new business owners the opportunity to meet revenue experts and put faces to the names of people that may help them in the future.” said Carla Snellgrove of ADOR Media Affairs.

An overview of Alabama’s business and electronic filing programs, and information about Alabama’s new ONE SPOT, a free internet filing a payment portal that allows business taxpayers to file and pay state, county, and city sales taxes, will also be presented.

The workshop will be held at the Pike County Economic Development Corporation, located at 100 Industrial Blvd.
