Coordinators of the Female Factor would like to see a photo of your mom.
The Female Factor is a free monthly luncheon that celebrates all things female. It is held at The Studio in downtown Troy on the second Wednesday of the month from noon to 1 p.m.
As part of next Wednesday’s luncheon, Dianna Lee is preparing a presentation that will incorporate any family photos sent to her by Tuesday, May 13, at noon.
“We decided to do something light and fun in honor of Mother’s Day week,” she said. “Maybe we should get an entire week instead of a day.”
In addition to family photos, the event will feature guest speakers Georgia Ziglar and Sherry Ziglar Helms of the Home Gallery and sisters Helen Dunn and Nancy Harrell of Terra Cotta.
Lee said Ziglar and Helms would share their experiences working together. It was quite a change for Helms, who is a retired librarian.
The second half of the Female Factor will be devoted to Dunn and Harrell. They will share tips about spring plants and their experiences working together.
“Helen and Nancy always have such great information about plants. So, it’s going to be fun,” Lee said.
