Dora and John Harris are canvassing the state in search of answers to the death of their son.
DeLange T. Harris’ body was found May 3, 2011 on Athens Church Road near Goshen.
“It’s been three years of agony,” said John Harris.
The family will have a prayer vigil today at 11 a.m. at New Hope Valley Baptist Church in Luverne. Then, it will be back to the business of finding the person who abducted and murdered their only son.
“We’re going to every county in Alabama to get the word out,” said John Harris. “I want justice. That’s my life journey. I’ve given up everything else.”
A reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the crime was recently doubled to $10,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation at 334-263-1691; Alabama Bureau of Investigation at 334-983-5614; Pike County Sheriff’s Office at 566-4347; or Crenshaw County Sheriff Department at 335-6568.
