Brundidge Police continue to investigate an armed robbery that took place at Hardee’s on U.S. Highway 231 in Brundidge around 12:20 a.m. Tuesday.
Brundidge Police Chief Moses Davenport said, when a manager went out to move his vehicle closer to the building, two black males approached him with a gun.
“The men took the manager’s cell phone and his wallet and forced him to go back in the building,” Davenport said. “They took the money that had been counted for deposit and left on foot.”
Davenport said the investigation has revealed that a driver was also involved in the robbery.
The police chief said the investigation is nearing completion and arrests will be made.
