Melvin “Big Boy” Croswell

Melvin “Big Boy” Croswell was born January 16, 1966, in Pike County, Alabama, to the late Tommie Lee and Annie P. Croswell. One brother, James Croswell, and one sister, Annie Clide Croswell also preceded him in death. Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Outreach Endtime Deliverance Church with Bishop Willie C. Scott officiating.
Melvin attended Pike County High School in Brundidge, AL. Melvin worked with his brothers James and Jimmy Croswell with Croswell Construction Company, then later moved to Atlanta, GA where he lived for 25 years working for Legacy Golf Management Services.
Melvin leaves to cherish his memory the following: Five (5) sisters and two (2) brothers; Myrtle (Bennie) Pritchett, Troy, Alabama; Queen E. Tucker, Troy, Alabama; Ernestine (Jerome) Ross, Troy, Alabama; Jimmy Croswell (Shirley Canady), Troy, Alabama; Alfred Croswell, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Annette (Willie) Jones, Troy, Alabama; and Linda Gail Knight, Troy, Alabama. Ten (10) nieces and nephews; Alfred Croswell Jr., LaSonja Croswell, Brittany Knight, Lakiesha Knight, Keana Ross, Mickey Croswell, JaVorris Ross, Jarred Jones, Jamie Jones, Kawon Pritchett, and Stacey Lawrence; Three (3) aunts, one (1) uncle, and a host of cousins and friends.
