Addyson Bryan singled in Tucker Earles in the top of the fourth to cut Carbon Hill’s lead to two, but the Lady Trojans wouldn’t get any closer.

The Bulldogs scored three more runs in the fifth inning to pull away for the opening-game win.

In the second game, Parrish scored at least one run in every inning to pick up the 9-3 win over the Lady Trojans.

Parrish scored one run in each of the first two innings, before exploding for four in the top of the third.

Charles Henderson picked up a three spot in the bottom of the frame, with Lindsey Fox and Sidney Armstrong coming home on a double by Earles.

However, the Tornadoes would respond with three runs of their own in the top of the fourth inning to seal the win.

Charles Henderson loaded the bases in the bottom of the fourth, but was unable to bring in any runs as Parrish sealed the win.
