The incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning at mile marker 104, near Watkins Court and cut power off for several blocks.

“It’s been a big inconvenience. We lost a lot of business today,” said Ronnie Goosby, manager of Ingram’s Curb Market as he sat outside waiting for the power to be restored Saturday afternoon.

Troy utility workers replaced the pole and restored power to neighboring homes and businesses at 1:45 p.m.

While replacing the pole, a gas line was hit, which caused a gas leak. The leak was quickly repaired.
