The Troy Police Department arrested 21-year-old Xezabeya Quintez Grandberry of Troy on one count of assault second degree, according to information released by Chief Jimmy Ennis.

Grandberry was arrested in connection to the Jan. 19 shooting that occurred on Hanchey Street at approximately 11:45 p.m. The victims’ gunshot wounds were not life threatening.

After a subsequent investigation by Troy PD detectives, a warrant for the assault was obtained and Grandberry was arrested at his workplace. Grandberry was processed at the Troy City Jail and transported to the Pike County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

The case is still under investigation by the Troy Police Department.
