Hillis Davis Gardner

Mr. Hillis Davis Gardner age 92 of Troy died Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 1:30 pm from the Good Hope Baptist Church with Reverend Wayne Locklar officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 on Friday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Larry and Louise Gardner of Troy a daughter and son-in-law Karen G. and Larry Adams of Troy, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law Jo Gardner and Sue Gardner.

He was preceded in death by his Wife Emma Graves Brooks Gardner, sisters Imogene Ivey, and Lucille Carroll, and Brothers J.C., Lloyd, Karrell and Glen Gardner.

His grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Advantage or the Good Hope Baptist Church.
