Emma P. Bynum
Emma P Bynum, 70 years young, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, December 19, 2013. She was born to the late Hollis and Lillie Parish of Brundidge AL.
Emma worked as a Teacher’s Assistant & Beautician until she retired. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Emma was a faithful member of New Life Christian Fellowship in Jacksonville FL, and loved to read the Word of God. Emma will be missed, but we must all remember that she is in a place of Eternal “Hello’s” and be holds the Face of GOD. Emma is survived by two children: daughter, Lisa (Jon) Luft, son, Shawn Bynum; three grandchildren: Hardy (Samantha) Holland IV, Heather Holland, and Michael Holland; 2 great grandchildren: Audrey Mae and 1 on the way (all residing in Jacksonville, Florida); her sister: Sara (Dale) Halligan, brother: Harvie (Mary) Parrish, (residing in GA), brother: Rudolph Parish, and Junior Orell (Doris) Parish, (residing in Brundidge, AL), as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 from Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
