Larry G. Adkins

Larry G. Adkins, age 72, of Brundidge passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at Troy Regional Medical Center.

Visitation for Mr. Adkins will be Sunday, December 15, 2013 from his son’s home at 588 County Road 4425 after 4:00 PM.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Springfield Baptist Church with Reverend Kenneth Baggett and Reverend Donald Ash officiating. There will be a one hour lie-in-state at the church on Monday. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Adkins is survived by his daughter, Monica Shea Adkins, his son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Samantha Adkins, his grandchildren, Cera Adkins and Rick Mehaffey, Alexis and Ashlyn Adkins and Dawson Perkins, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim Fendley, Carolyn and Ray Prestage, Evelyn and Ronnie Campbell, Shirley Tew, Iris Tew Jr., Lee and Pamela Tew and several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Mr. Adkins was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Adkins, his parents, Tollie John and Gladys Bowman Adkins, Mother and Father-in-Law, Iris and Florence Tew.

Brothers and sisters, Willie Mack Adkins, John T. Adkins, Betty Sue Fendley, Barbara Jones and an infant brother.

Services are under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge.
