The Charles Henderson Middle School volleyball team traveled to Enterprise on Tuesday and brought home a pair of wins.
The Trojans knocked off Coppinville 25-17 and 25-22, and beat Ashford 25-12 and 25-18.
Charles Henderson head coach Tori Stone said that the wins are huge for the second-year program.
“I am very proud of the way this team always pulls together and plays as a team,” Stone said. “We took what we learned after last week’s game and built on it at practice. They are extremely tough and refuse to quit. We had to dig ourselves out of a few holes tonight, but once we got out, we continued the momentum and never looked back. We play with a lot of heart, and I can’t wait to get back out there Thursday against Goshen. We will keep building and learning. I am excited to see what is in store for this group of girls.”
Charles Henderson will meet the Goshen Lady Eagles on Thursday.
