Two men arrested for vehicle theft

Troy Police have arrested two men in connection with a vehicle theft that happened on Monday.
Quintez Xavier Reed, 23, and Terry McCray Reed, 39, both of Pike County, have been charged with first-degree theft of property, according to the Troy Police Department.
The two men were arrested after an investigation of a vehicle theft from the Troy Walmart.
Terry Reed was taken into custody at the Troy Police Department and Quintez Reed was found hiding in a residence located off of U.S. Highway 231 South, police said. Police recovered the stolen Lincoln Town Car on Tuesday, the day of the arrests.
The two men were both taken to the Pike County Jail under $5,000 bonds.
The case is still under investigation by the Troy Police Department.
