James E. (Pid) Steed, age 92, of Brundidge, Alabama passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Dale Medical Center in Ozark. Visitation for Mr. Steed will be Friday, June 28, 2013 from 12:30 P.M. Until 2:00 P.M. At Richland Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. At Richland Baptist Church with Reverend Kenneth Andrews officiating.

Burial will follow in Richland Baptist Church Cemetery. Steed is survived by nephews and nieces, Robert and Brenda Steed, Carolyn Stricklin, Marie Sullivan, Robert Gordon and Inez Steed. Mr. Steed was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Ivey Steed. Mr. Steed was the owner of Steed Garage in Brundidge until his retirement. He was also an active member of Richland Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was a World War II Veteran. Pallbearers are Jason Steed, Jud Steed, John Steed, Johnny Sullivan, Michael Sullivan and Scott Sullivan. Funeral arrangements and services are under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge.
