A man was treated for stab wounds to his head and arm after a domestic violence incident Monday night.
Troy Police were called to Poplar Hills mobile home park about 5:40 p.m. Monday to investigate a stabbing where the victim has not yet pressed charges against a woman he is in a relationship with, according to police.
The man was stabbed in the left forearm, upper left arm and the head. Police report the victim’s wounds are not life threatening.
“As of yesterday, he was undecided,” said Troy Police Lt. Bryan Weed. “It is really up to him whether or not he wants to press charges.”
The incident comes just three days after another domestic dispute that ended in death. Russell Senn, 56, was arrested Friday for the murder of his sister.
Troy Police responded to the 500 block of Trojan Way on Friday morning to find Senn in the front yard and his sister lying injured on the ground.
She was taken to Troy Regional Medical Center and then airlifted to Montgomery before she died.
The case is under investigation by the Troy Police Department, but was an incident of domestic violence, according to police.
Senn is being held in the Pike County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Weed said the Troy Police Department does respond to many domestic violence incidents, however, most don’t end so tragically.
